In January of 2021 Mercy Holistic Ministry kicked of its mobile shower project with the help of Citrus Heights HART (Homeless Action Resource Team), and now Mercy Holistic Ministry is teaming up with Citrus Heights HART for a second year in a row to take part of their winter respite program.
MHM will provide hot showers, clean clothes, and hygiene kits to all that are participating in the program. Once a week the mobile shower unit will setup and provide a resource that this population has little to no access to. Through organization like Citrus Heights HART and other wonderful programs, we have been able to provide over 100 hot showers a month. Since our send off with Citrus Heights MHM has provide over 1500 Hot showers this year and now has 3 permanent locations .
